Pernoire Naki

Wow, upon first spray I already knew this was going to be something special!

Naki opens up with a gorgeous, freshly picked green fig leaf and crisp white peach, with just a touch of citrusy aldehydes to brighten the composition. A little bitterness, powder, and subtle floral aroma from the almond flowers are just barely there in the background. It's stunning, very natural, very light and airy.

During the mid, the tartness from the aldehydes gradually becomes more apparent and the perfume takes on a marine quality. The white floral notes emerge and are soft and creamy, and relatively subtle. Sadly, the green fig leaf note begins to fade here as well. It starts to remind me of a peachier version of Roja's Isola Snow - a really tart, bright, lemon and peach sorbet with a creamy base, with the scent of salty sea spray in the air. There are also hints of floral notes, spicy sandalwood, and whatever remains of the fig leaves. Beautiful, luscious, and rounded, but still very refreshing.

The osmanthus makes its appearance around the 2 hour mark. It continues the peach-like fruitiness with a delicate floral touch, along with gentle, salted vanilla and a mild soapiness. A trace of the mid is still present, but the citric aldehydes have softened considerably.

I'm not sure if it's because I can't smell the musks in this one, but it is overall an intimate, close to the skin type of scent with subtle projection on me. It is so beautiful and would be just perfect for spring. The longevity is pretty off the charts... Though it isn't a particularly strong projector (to me), it is still going strong on skin after 16 hours!

I can't do a lot of peach perfumes as they are often artificial and very sweet, but this one is very nicely done - natural and barely ripe. I wish it smelled like the opening the whole way through, because that would have been a 10/10. Considering the mid and drydown, I give this a 9/10 for scent. This is wonderful and I would love a bottle 💖🌸
