Unique, refreshing and addictive dentist’s clinic on a space ship

I’ve said before that my nose is an absolute whore for ambroxan so it’s no surprise that I find the opening of Neon Garden absolutely stunning. Fresh, minty yet dry pepper with a cool powdery Iris. So intriguingly different.

For my nose, the mint becomes more prominent in heart amongst an aromatic blend with a vintage lipstick feel. But this scent is futuristic.

It’s as it dries down that there’s this interesting clinical aspect to the scent. There’s earthy carrot seed with a slightly oily smell. The musky ambroxan is moorish but never warms with the mint keeping it cool.

There’s something so reminiscent about the dry down. It reminds me of the effervescent pink fizzy tablets used to make mouth wash in a dentist. Oily carrot seed adds a layer of nitrile gloves on the dentist amongst the lovely, powdery minty musk in the dry down. You’re in a clean and sterile dental chair on a spaceship. The dentist has lightly sprayed a Dior Homme earlier on his chest that morning before he left for work. He is leaning over you, wearing his purple nitrile gloves and is bringing the pink effervescent mouth wash up to your mouth to sip.

It sounds weird and it’s a little insipid, yet it’s extremely pleasing to my nose and utterly addictive. Really calming and intriguing. Completely unisex.
