Neroli Outrenoir is a special perfume. What it sets out to achieve it masters and the result is a perfect tea perfume, refined, elegant, classic. It opens with a bright pop of citrus from the bergamot, tangerine, and lemon. It has grapefruit though I don’t pick that up easily. The neroli joins the chorus of citrus quickly, adding semi-sweet florals to the scent. As the citrus becomes less spiky, a deep, watery, smoked black tea emerges and the citrus blends with it to create a photorealistic tea, neroli flowers scenting the air beside the drink. The base anchors the composition with addictive incense and vanilla combo, with ambery benzoin and myrrh.
