Gorgeous. Best Amouage ever.

Beautiful. Gorgeous. Opulent. Cool. Laid back. Royal. Classy.

Amber. Candied Citrus. Frankincense. Pepper. Vanilla. Patchouli. Spices. And somehow all of them are prominent.

This fragrance makes little sense on paper. But man is it good.

There's a resinous-mineral backbone of frankincense (the resin not the smoke) and patchouli. That's the linear part. It only fades in the very deep drydown (after several hours)

Then there's so many accords that appear at different stages.

The opening is backbone + pepper + candied citrus / lemon cake. And maybe some amber, idk. The opening lasts quite some time. This part feels glowing, balsamic, and very unique.

The heart is a little on the dry side. Backbone + spices (cumin, saffron, etc..). Though there's maybe a little amber there too.

The deep dry down is when it turns into a sweet vanilla-amber to me. Borderline gourmand.

This isn't a scent that changes it's identity. It rather has a constant identity, but there's several accords that show up at different points, alongside that identity.

My favorite Amouage. Potentially my favorite scent ever.
