I think people think all patchouli is smoky, but this is refined and smooth. No rough edges. I only have my little sample vial, and I wish Guerlain made this available in travel sizes.

Ayyy! I liked almost all of them (except Pao Rosa and Herbes) but settled on these two for large decants. Neroli Outrenoir, SDV, Tobacco Honey and Cuir Beluga would fight it out for 3rd place, but all of these had something or other that put me off slightly. What would be #3 for you?

Actually same on those two that you don’t like, I think 1 minute before you posted this comment I used Pao Rosa as room spray because that’s as far as I like it 😅, also (unfortunately) the honey in tobacco honey just smells like dried up saliva on me, I wish I could enjoy it since it’s the one I’ve gotten most samples of. I love the other ones you mentioned and I’d say SDV is my 3rd one and lately I’ve been loving Cuir Beluga so I think I’ll get the 2x20ml of it eventually. Have you tried the Extraits btw? Tonka one is my favorite but I also absolutely love the Iris one

Musty, earthy, a little basement-leaning, but done in such a smooth, sexy way. Aldehydes make the opening sparkle, powdery iris gives it a beautiful softness, and the vanilla-ambergris base finishes

This one really has 3 of my top 5 notes (Patchouli, Iris, and Vanilla), what's not to love? Also, love layering it every now and then with the Vanilla and Iris extraits depending if I wanna make more
