Don’t get me wrong, I love this perfume. Every time I go to buy her I end up buying something else and I keep waiting and waiting. Once I finally bought her she doesn’t smell the same as when I have tested her each time at the store. 🤔 On initial spray, I don’t get any fig at all- none unless it’s green and leafy. I was expecting a juicy fig scent, this is not it. It actually smells very berry and like some tart European berry (lingonberry or gooseberry come to mind) it’s not bad just very bright and sparkling and it could be rather sharp for some. However, if you give it about 20 minutes she starts to settle and warm up! That’s when the fig shows up and much more well behaved accompanied with that slight caramel note. This morning was a toss up between this and Mugler’s Fantasm (which I sprayed on the back of my hand) and now I am wishing I went with Fantasm!! 🤣 I can be a bit fickle sometimes!!     I have had that happen to me! Chloé Vanille Planifolia smelled so good when I tried it in store. Bought it the next day and it doesn’t smell the same. 🤔

      Oh no! That would suck, Chloe Vanille Planifolia is such a beautiful and unique vanilla, it smells so lovely to me. Did you try it again in a different season or is it just always the same no matter what?

    So interesting, I also don’t get fig from this. To me this has a similar smell to Tom Ford Cherry Smoke. A dark, juicy and slightly leathery cherry.
