Maybe the perfect powdery scent

I adore powdery perfumes. From straight-up heliotrope to violet to powdery iris scents. Exploring powdery perfumes lead me here and I’m miffed I didn’t discover this one sooner! (Such is the way of perfume discovery…)

This is dense at first but lightens up over several minutes. Teint de Neige is clean, elegant and possibly the best powdery scent (for all occasions) I have in my collection. I’ve been wearing this one freshly showered before bed (and my god is it good!!!) but when the weather gets colder this will easy make day-evening appearances. It’s refined. Powdery without smelling overly cosmetic or stodgy.

As far as longevity I couldn’t say yet since I’m lulled to sleep before I can time this one out 🙃.

Others that share a “vibe” with this one but aren’t necessarily smell alikes are: l’heure bleue, Apres l’ondee Guerlain (grande dames of powdery perfumes); Heliotrope Oriza L Legrand (densely powdered and decidedly “old school”); Musc Eternel Mizensir (this is a cousin to TDN to my nose…maybe, second cousins.
