Experimenting a bit today

Cold and rainy, so I wanted to use my classic rain scent (Noir 29), but I was really craving some clean oud. This combination is working pretty well so far!

    Do you find fragrances truly mix when layering? I haven't experimented much, but when I have, it just feels like I smell one, and then I smell the other, so it always feels like I'm just wearing two separate fragrances rather than a homogenized whole.

      It really depends on the specific combo, honestly. For example, with this combo, I definitely get a blending of both- the tea/fig from Noir 29 resting on top of the soft oud. Fuego Futuro and Matsukita layered together really well for me too. There have been quite a few combos where it was exactly as you described, though
