The opening feels like crushing mint leaves in your hand, green and wet and slightly bruised. The citrus is bright and it feels like lime/lemon zest over ice. Officially the notes include mint, lemon, basil, thyme, blackcurrant, rosemary, lavender, jasmine, musk and verbena. The rosemary and lavender standout to me in a good way here. The herbal notes keep it alive and it lasts all day on me. There’s a little blackcurrant sharpness underneath, but it isn’t fruity in a sweet way. The dry down is clean, musky, and verbena-bright, but still aromatic and interesting. It keeps that “cold drink in hot weather” feeling.It is sporty like a fast, very shiny lizard sitting on a marble wall in the sun, pretending it has an ATP ranking.
