Francesca Dell’OroVanille 18:004.01 ratingMalty and hopsy dark honey beer. Not what I was expecting, granted I hadn’t looked at the notes. I had picked it looking a bedtime vanilla to sample. This isn’t something I would wear, yet I’m really enjoying whiffing this. Interesting and complex, really well blended. Going to pop this away and try it again in autumn/winter.

It’s very well blended in the way that the notes aren’t overly obvious. There’s hints of boozy natural vanilla, tobacco and woods, there’s little licks of pineyness

Yes!! Like with some fragrances i wear I’m pleasantly surprised when I notice it has a vanilla note

It’s not like lager.. it’s like a warm malty ale crossed with a honey mead. The vanilla is a little more noticeable in the dry down, but it’s a raw vanilla scent and it’s in the background. Alonv with the tobacco. There’s sweetness there, but it’s from the honey and saffron. 4 hrs later abd I’m still whiffing this trying to figure it out.

I’m not sure if it’s meant to smell like beer lol. But if think it’s the bran and hat with the honey that is giving it that malty dark honey ale accord, I don’t think it was intentional by the perfumer?

I honestly don’t think it was the intention, but it’s interesting. The bran, hay and tobacco was still very present on my skin this morning.
