Gauzy comfort

Had a day today and am heading in early with my Sonos playing something Jack Johnson-y, a book (if I can focus) and Vermeil.

This is a soft, gauzy almost hazy powdery scent with (you guessed it) iris, violet, rose, raspberry and heliotrope. It feels elegant and old world, refined in the way I imagine perfumes were when this brand was formed.

Despite having a vintage appeal, it does find a home in today’s market; the raspberry adds a bit of lift to the dense violet and the iris, while powdery (cosmetic) feels gauzy and light.

I need its magic now: calming, serene.
