As requested by my students

This week, I've been introducing them to my chocolate-patchouli Cerberus.

They experienced Pardon on Wednesday, which most of them enjoyed, although some really didn't. The general consensus was "sweet, smoke, flowers, wood", but not one of them said chocolate. Unsurprising, really - he's the most noble of the three, reigning supreme over a dark realm more akin to 90% cacao than anything a young nose would readily associate with chocolate. For me, though, it absolutely goes in that direction.

They tried Psychédélique yesterday, which received an overwhelmingly positive reaction. Even without me prompting them, every single one said it smelled like chocolate. Perhaps not knowing "patchouli" in either English or Chinese allows their associations to be more pure. To me, it's a sweet, ambery patchouli that turns into an resinous caramel. It's certainty the fiercest of the three, and has never really given me "chocolate", but I was happy to hear that this is probably what comes across to most people.

I told them I had one more chocolate fragrance, and they all seemed very excited. To me, Richwood is the most chocolatey of the three - albeit taking 3-4 hours to get there - the gentlest head of all, and the overseer of the white chocolate kingdom.

It's absolutely not a perfume I'd ordinarily wear to work, or in >28°C for that matter, but if I saved it only for those moments when I feel it truly shines, I'd still have the bottle when I'm old and grey - and where's the fun in that?

**Edit** - Conclusions: not as well received as Psychédélique, but more so than Pardon. Things they said they smelt: apples, roses, white chocolate, wood, marshmellows, vanilla, and candy. The second class really picked up on the chocolate, which in unsurprising as it had already been on for ~5 hours at that point.

Always fun experimenting with my fragrances on children, but for the sake of my own enjoyment, the three heads of my patchouli Cerberus won't be seen at work again!
