Seahorse Is Firmly Anchored in the Shallows

Rather than evoking the open ocean, I imagine sunlight splintering through turquoise ripples as schools of fish dart among vibrant coral gardens.

A gentle, pastel-green breeze, carrying a hint of liquorice and a translucent veil of salt. It's unmistakably aquatic, though not in a crashing, briny sense - more like a mineral-rich body scrub, where coarse salt and cooling herbs leave the skin smooth and refreshed.

There's an almost paradoxical dryness here, as if most of the water has been stripped away, leaving only the idea of the sea. Even the algae feels conceptual - an abstract impression of marine life rather than an unfiltered snapshot of nature's raw aquatic palette.

Unfortunately, the intrigue doesn't last. What begins as something airy and textural soon slips into familiar territory - ozonic, shower-fresh, and reminiscent of masculine aquatics from the '90s. Even the presence of tuberose, with its touch of indolic depth, can't quite shake the sense of déjà vu.
