Lots of cedar, very woody on paper. I would be floored if I smelled this ‘blue’ fragrance without context. It is almost incense-y from the wood/cedar. I personally don’t get anything aquatic from it.

Did you try it on skin?? I get a very clear salty sea spray / coastal herbs effect from the opening, with the saltiness never truly leaving, even when it becomes ambery, resinous and a touch animalic later on in the wear.

I will try it on skin tomorrow. Though no matter - I do feel the scent is overpriced. This scent profile seems achievable with many others. I think the bottle and longevity is a big part, on top of the name. I do think the woody smell is high quality.

Whether something is overpriced is always going to depend on what someone values. I look forward to hearing your thoughts though, it's a rather different experience on skin.

I agree! Completely my personal view that it’s overpriced. I will return tomorrow with a skin review. I am always one for giving a scent a full chance. And I’m not one to hate on anyone else’s preferences.
