This is going in my top 10 OAT.

All due respect to Byredo and Jerome Epinette for creating this masterpiece. But Montagne did an amazing job too and for a small fraction of the price.

I can not compare this to many perfumes I know, except for the ones that have a similar amount of vetiver in them, I would say Acqua di Gio Elixir is close, but has a more aquatic and fresh approach, Grey Vetiver is similar too but with MUCH more soapy and classic masculine approach. But at the same time, it's woody and slightly sweet and floral so I think you could compare it to more woody perfumes, except I just have not smelled a lot of woody perfumes with a similar approach.

For me, this perfume's backbone is composed of florals, woods and vetiver. It hits your nose in a very soft, airy, clean, dry and slightly sweetened and fresh kind of way.

It paints a picture of picking flowers in a cool, sunny morning after a rainy night flowers which will end up in a farmhouse kitchen, on a jar made of cedarwood, on top of a cedarwood table, the wood was treated with lemon oil and the bouquet is marigold, violet and jasmine.

The notes I perceive the most are definitely lemon and marigold in the opening, a sweetened, ambery violet comes through later on and finally a very well done blend of cedarwood, vetiver and musk gives an ending to the perfume with some remnants of the floral components.

This is perceived mostly in a clean, pleasant way, not very challenging so I say it fits almost any occasion, work, date, night out, social plans, maybe I would just not use it for workout because I would not like this to be "wasted" at the gym but it's definitely fitting too, and the only other occasion I wouldn't use this for is super formal kind of etiquette events, this might lack some punch and presence for that kind of things. And it's perfectly unisex IMO, maybe has a very slight masculine tendency because of the vetiver and cedarwood, I'd say 45 fem / 55 masc.

I personally give this a 10/10 I absolutely adore it.
