I don't get any funkiness in this, at least not in an animalic way, but it does get very woody in the dry-down

Azonto is the better version IMO, if I wanted something more for "nightwear" I wouldn't go for the Bal d'Afrique DNA, I feel like its DNA was created with daywear in mind.

This is going in my top 10 OAT.
All due respect to Byredo and Jerome Epinette for creating this masterpiece. But Montagne did an amazing job too and for a small fraction of the price. I can not compare this to many perfumes I know

Honestly this is MILES better than the Dossier dupe, Montagne's quality is insanely high for the price. When it dries a little it sticks to skin in a perfect mix of floral, woody, earthy and ambery
