Cirque du Soleil but More Tart and Sandalwoody

This is a wonderful scent journey from first spray to drydown❤️upon first spray, the caramelized apple, spun sugar and sparkling blackcurrant present a tart, caramel-candied cornucopia of the notes to follow.

The muguet, orange blossom and rose add a floral levity that compliments the tartness/sweetness of the top notes quite well. The orange blossom really brings out the caramel specifically imo, on my skin at least.

Finally, sandalwood créme adds a sweet creaminess, but also a bit of a "scratchy" texture to the drydown, a roughness that's fleshed out by smooth & warm cloud musk and tart/smoky cherry leather.

I compare this to Cirque du Soleil EDP—Carousel is louder, more tart, and "scratchier" than CdS. CdS costs more, and (imo) simply smells better blended with more expensive materials. If you have either one, I don't think you need the other. If you have Carousel, though, I DO suggest trying CdS—I feel like Carousel is more appropriate for going out on the town, and CdS is for more intimate settings, and you can prob tell I like CdS more.
