Soap Refinement

I have to admit, Wasser did a stunning job on this Herbes Troublantes. I can't for the life of me understand what's exactly going on, but I feel a mix of being bothered and pleased at the same time. Bothered because I don't understand what's there and why last such a short time, but pleased because it's undoubtedly a well-executed work. This is a beautiful, bright green cologne that goes full soap right after the opening. It's really beautiful how it spreads in the air, giving you a calm, luxurious, and clean feeling. It's a mix between freshly washed clothes and a basic 4-star hotel hand soap. What's interesting is how something so simple at its core is formulated so well inside a bottle.

The choice of color is also very smart, as it gives you this immediate impression of cleanness that you just have to admire. The giant issue is the longevity; after just one hour, it becomes a skin scent that is shadowed by anything else around it. So, I feel like this could work very well as a cologne rather than an actual perfume. To be very honest, aside from the beauty of the composition, this should be sold for 100 euro, in the basic line with Habit Rouge and Homme Ideal. It would have been a far better choice to do so rather than sell it for so much money and such low performance. Thats why I won’t get a full bottle, Either way, I'm not a fan of soap scents, and this one is the top of the charts without any doubt.
