I'm sure its raunchier side was much more aggressive in the past, but my version reminds me more of a kitten's warm fur as it naps in a sunbeam than anything remotely animalic.

When I first smelled this in 2010 i didn’t react much to it compared to Une Rose and Bois d’Orage (French Lover). Noir Epices was even more tempting so I got a travel trio of those because I was 17

It’s just so cosy. Warm spices, powdery lavender and a soft, musky sweetness. I’ve always wanted a cat, and this one makes me feel as though I’m shrouded in vanillic kitty fur. It’s pretty thin

Would love a sniff of an earlier formulation which @guerlinaughty described as a "fatty prime rib of a scent", as my version is very tame - more sweet, vanillic kitty fur than anything animalic.

Powdery lavender, sweet spice and vanilla kitty fur. It's a vibe though - smells completely unique. I wore it out a couple weeks ago and it didn't perform in the way I enjoy my perfumes performing
