Diptyque Orpheon EDP

Orpheon is another one of my favorite Diptyque perfumes. I haven't worn it in awhile, so I thought I'd put it on today. I have a sample of the EDT coming soon so I will definitely do a comparison when it arrives.

Orpheon opens up with a strong blast of peppery, sharp juniper berries that vanishes almost as quickly as the initial blast of alcohol from the atomizer. After that, it becomes a gorgeously smooth blend of woodiness, mild citrus, clean jasmine, a wisp of smoke, and the lightest hint of powdery, freshly washed skin. I normally dislike juniper and smoke, but they are both very subtle in the mid and dry down, simply adding a welcome complexity to the composition.

The performance is quite good - It projects very well for several hours and also has excellent longevity, lasting about 8-10 hours on my skin.

Orpheon is so easy to wear, comfortable, and familiar. It is another great one to throw on after a shower to feel effortlessly put together. It is a sophisticated, elegant perfume that would make a wonderful signature scent. It is unisex and very versatile - I can't think of an occasion or season where it would be out of place. Wearing this always makes me feel like the best version of myself! 10/10
