So I just blind bought a travel spray of Diptyque Orpheon edt out of curiosity to see if it was just a lighter version of the edp. I was totally shocked at how completely different the 2 smell. I thought I'd lost the plot until I read some reviews. Curious to know what people who have tried both think.

Morning, Dodo! I certainly smell the posh ivory soap/slightly peppery woods vibe of the EDP in the base of EDT, but it takes a while to get there, buried beneath that citrusy, and dare I say it, scratchy opening. I find the EDP stunning, but the EDT is not for me.

Morning 😁 I relly love the drydown of the edp but on my skin the opening is full grandma. I'm waiting for a shift in the edt but so far it's been pretty linear.

I can see how the fresh powder would give scrubbed granny vibes! You'll have to let me know if you feel the EDT change at all.

This reminds me of my experience testing Chanel No.5 edp vs edt! I love the edt, but am overstimulated by the edp!

I absolutely love it but they should have released it as a completely different fragrance. It REALLY reminds me of TdH Eau Givree, which I adore in really high heat.
