I tried a decant of Santal Calling by ex Nikhil today, and while it is delicious, it’s way creamier and milkier than I expected. I think what I like about santal blush is that woody dryness. I think I’ll try Santal Austral next.

Yeah honestly this one didn’t really do much for me either. I expected to love it and it’s gorgeous but I think not really for me which was surprising

Love sandalwood scents. Santal Blush is one of my favorites. Santal Austral is a good rec. Have you tried Van Cleef & Arpels Santal Blanc? Incredible scent, may be milkier than what you're after, but for me the fig milk just smooths out the wood, interestingly, it reminds me a fair bit of TF White Suede. Santal du Pacifique from Perris Monte Carlo is in a similar vein, but lighter & woodier. Santal Calling was very underwhelming. If you want another interesting woody sandalwood in the vein of Santal Blush/Astral I'd also recommend Bon Parfumeur 301, Dilo Hinoki Sesame, Serge Lutens Santal Majuscule is a classic, DVN Santal Greenery is an intensely dry green sandalwood. If you like Santal Austral I'd definitely recommend Crivelli Santal Volcanique.

All I’ve tried from van cleef were moonlight patchouli and orchid leather which are both amazing. Def need to try santal blanc. And I like hinoki wood based scents too so def gonna try dilo hinoki sesame
