I did little to no research, the original spritz in store smelled really nice but as a certified resinous and spice hater there was no chance I was ever going to like this perfume. Gave it a shot, not for me. However, if you’re into that sorta thing, you’ll probably love it

Camphor is a bit harsh on the open, but it mellows out to a smoky, oriental frankincense, with faint traces of a powdery iris base. A nice take for Beijing and solid addition to the Cities lineup.

Love le labo so I was super excited for this one. Their incenses are my favorites (poivre and Benjoin are permanent fixtures in my collection along with vanille 44). Will need a full bottle for sure.

Got this sample today (could not wait to try it!) oh my gosh - what sorcery is this? Incense+ leau papier? I feel like I layered Benjoin 19 and leau papier I’d get a similar scent. I have Benjoin 19

I’m falling more and more in love with this one. Got a 15ml, but tempted to get a 50ml before October. It’s so good.

First impression it’s a pretty woody Iris, but I’m certain I’ve smelled this profile before. Curious how it will develop.
