I feel like I layered Benjoin 19 and leau papier I’d get a similar scent. I have Benjoin 19 (big le labo fan) so I’ll have to try it with papier. This one is definitely full bottle worthy. Had been planning on getting mousse de Chen 30 but this might be even more my style…

Camphor is a bit harsh on the open, but it mellows out to a smoky, oriental frankincense, with faint traces of a powdery iris base. A nice take for Beijing and solid addition to the Cities lineup.

Love le labo so I was super excited for this one. Their incenses are my favorites (poivre and Benjoin are permanent fixtures in my collection along with vanille 44). Will need a full bottle for sure.

It’s my own fault. I did little to no research, the original spritz in store smelled really nice but as a certified resinous and spice hater there was no chance I was ever going to like this perfume.

I’m falling more and more in love with this one. Got a 15ml, but tempted to get a 50ml before October. It’s so good.
