Santal Calling · Ex Nihilo
Kicking off August with a couple of upgrades from my tiny decants. Last time I did some Ex Nihilo sampling, @Darkvanille and @borr2112 told me I had to try this one. I'm so glad I did. Thank you -

31 Rue Cambon · Chanel
31 Rue Cambon is elevated and relaxed at the same time. A quick citrus opening that smooths into powdery iris and a gently sweetened ylang style tutti frutti. Eventually settles into a lovely

A Kiss Of Bliss · Penhaligon's
Very gentle and feminine. I don’t typically gravitate towards these types of frags, but this one is really lovely. Light, optimistic, comfortable, a garden stroll, soft curls, baby pink sheer lip

Meander · Amouage
This is such a beautiful creamy sandalwood. It’s the perfection projection— not too bold or too weak. Amazing wear. Yum. I don’t wear this enough. It’s mirroring a lot of my choices this week of

A Sign Painted Peaches · Sorce
Trying out a scent from my Sorce sampler and wow this is a winner for me! It’s a sweet, creamy peach with just enough of a hint of tartness to make me happy. Absolutely delightful to start out. Moon

Alien · Mugler
I finally found my old bottle of Alien! It’s a 2008 bottle and it’s amazing. Woody jasmine! That’s my vibe! There are nuances I will add in a review but I am reunited with my Shayla, aka my sister’s

Amnesia Rose · Aedes de Venustas
When I first wore this I remember thinking it was one of the best rose scents. I still think it’s really evocative and expensive smelling so I’ll never not love it but there is something a bit

Golden Cattleya · Olympic Orchids Artisan Perfumes
Wow! Pure sunshine. Fizzy floral sweetness. Perfect. This is why I only apply to one wrist at a time when I have a lot of samples to get through - my morning test died down to a skin scent but was

Thank U, Next · Ariana Grande
I always spray my outerwear, and I don’t wash things not worn next to my skin very often, so this is a common occurrence for me 😁. It’s unusual that it would be this particular scent since it’s

Allure Homme Edition Blanche · Chanel
My favorite part about running errands is that I get to wear a fragrance while doing them. I like to cycle through and pick something I haven't worn in a while. With that in mind- will I ever have a

Banana Splush · Ori Russo
This time from Ori Russo! It’s soft and there’s a layer of light spice but not too much. There’s some banana candy there but it leans warm—more like bananas foster. I like it but it’s not my holy

Drunk Lovers · Borntostandout
I loved the original Drunk Lovers, but after wearing the extrait for the first time, it floored me. Dark, jammy, sweet, slightly oudy, and just as sexy as the OG. Not as "mass-appealing" but for my

Kenzo Homme · Kenzo
I wanted something aquatic today but I really dislike typical fresh-blue, shower-gel scents. This one completely flips the script. It’s heavy, salty, and leathery, which fits my vibe perfectly while

Moon Magic · Sorce
This is so interesting! To me it opened like sniffing a pile of cinnamon hearts, but it mellowed quickly into something more like a milky lavender, spicy tea. It’s so mellow and just the right amount

Sundrunk · Imaginary Authors
Drove mom to the airport and had some extra time to hit up Denny’s on the way home. Spritzed this on for funsies. It’s a lovely slightly floral orange soda kind of thing. Not my favorite Imaginary

Jardins de Bagatelle Eau de Parfum · Guerlain
I usually wear Cabotine when I’m gardening but it’s such a beautiful morning I went for this instead. It’s another big, bold, bright floral of white and yellow. The aldehydes keep it fresh and lush

Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne · Roja London
I can't make up my mind on this one. There are moments when I catch this stuff in the air and think it's one of the most incredible fresh fragrance of all time, especially in the opening. Then, there

Angel · Mugler
Finally tried this iconic fragrance and wow, I can’t tell if I hate it or love it? At first it’s almost great but there’s a backdrop of something that smells like body odor… maybe the patchouli? As

Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 · Guerlain
Well that’s just pure vanilla. This fragrance radiates. I feel like it’s stronger in my sillage than on the skin. Not getting any of the medicinal notes that I got from SDV, and it’s not quite as

I got a sample of this one from the sa when I purchased a fragrance. I hadn’t tried it before but was so excited when I looked at the notes. I only sprayed on my left hand tonight before bed. The

Never-Ending Summer · Maison Margiela
Kept me energized during the endless video training 😅 and it lasted well in the heat! Something about the scent of it sprayed on my jean jacket and then baking in the sun was special lol. It smells

302 Ambre Iris Bois de Santal · Bon Parfumeur
This is in the classic Ambre Sultan/Grand Soir type DNA but with a sweet powdery iris added that makes everything a little lighter and cozier. Perfect way to start the first night of my vacation.

Bois Corsé · Diptyque
Hmm, not sure how I feel about this one. First impressions: veryyy dry, coffee is pretty subtle. It’s a bit sharp/rough which I guess is intentional, since this fragrance is inspired by tree bark.

Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette · Diptyque
@Darkvanille introduced me to this, and it quickly became a fav bedtime scent. I’m onto my second decant. I’m currently in a toss up between this Note Vanillée for FB status. They will continue to
