Where is the Iris?

The first time I smelled this I was so excited. Maybe the first Creed that I’d be willing to spend money on. Iris is my favorite note. I love the powdery, makeup bag texture of a good Iris fragrance and thought this might fit the bill.
But then I wore it again, and it was like a different fragrance. Where are the Iris notes? Where is the for? This is just a big saffron and red fruit mess. I don’t get any sandalwood or florals at all. And I watched the sales rep decant it directly from the bottle. So I don’t know what happened. It’s almost a clone of BR540 with heavy saffron and red berry fruits on an extremely linear scent.
I am so confused by this
