Final verdict....

...sublime for 2.5 - 3 hours. Then that f@#$ing amberwood takes over. It's a war of attrition between the opening and mid notes, which are beautiful, with the victor being longevity at the expense of quality. There is a better way to get performance from a fragrance that doesn't sacrifice the dry down, plenty of house's know that. Amouage and FM come to mind. And that is the most frustrating part..it is so good but only for for a bit. It'd be easier for me to swallow if it was just meh.
