Finally tried this a few times. It’s woody. Dense. Damp. Smoky as hell. To me, I don’t detect Sauvage in this dna at all. I get zero lavender whatsoever. I do however get a crazy amount of incense and cedar. I get high doses of patchouli and in the dry down, a different type of Oud. One that is dry, sweet, not heavily animalic.

This fragrance is heavily resembling of the DNAs that Amouage is known for. Woody, incensy.

This feels very niche, and very Francis Kurkdjian. Do I like this? Absolutely not. Just not for me. But the performance is insane and I’m sure this smells nice on some people, just not me.
