...the opening put me right off. But the dry down is not bad at all. Looking at the Sauvage line, I think this has the most in common with Eau Forte...which is the most polarizing one. Addendum

Finally tried this a few times. It’s woody. Dense. Damp. Smoky as hell. To me, I don’t detect Sauvage in this dna at all. I get zero lavender whatsoever. I do however get a crazy amount of incense

Such an elegant Oud with a beautiful, smokey incense. The Bergamot appears briefly as that dank campfire smoke melds to the skin.
