Caramel Recommendations

I posted this in FragranceStories, and need new recommendations. My kid’s BFF is turning 14. She loves Conan Gray and he has a song called Caramel, so she is asking for a caramel perfume. I, being her indulgent “other mother,” would like to make it happen.

I originally thought Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream, but she doesn’t like Sabrina Carpenter at all. I was also thinking Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71, but that is super strong and can be headache inducing.

Any suggestions for interesting caramel frags that would appeal to 14 year olds, and not break the bank?

    I suggest Bonbon or L'eau de Parfum ❤️I am a caramel FIEND btw! The Cirque du Soleil parfum is my FAVORITE (I find it impossible to choose one favorite perfume, but it's top 5!) Wishing your kid's bff a happy 14!!🥳

      Thank you for the birthday wishes! I saw Bonbon but thought it may be too fruity, and she’s the one kid I know who doesn’t like fruit! Do you have a recommendation that leans warmer - more on the caramel vanilla end of the spectrum than fruity or floral?

      I saw guerlainaughty's comment of Pink Sugar, and I think they're on point—I wanted to spoil your kid's bff I guess, lmao. Pink Sugar is WAY more price appropriate for a 14 yo, and it reads as caramel for sure (despite the note pyramid). I've never tried Queens Caramel, but have heard good things, and Cloud is a BR540 dupe that does have detectable lavender in it to MY nose, but the notes blend into a caramelized sugar accord in the drydown (much like br540). Fragrance is so subjective, though, so I think going with Pink Sugar and ALSO some samples of other caramel fragrances would be such an awesome birthday gift!! Cuz what if the bff doesn't end up liking Pink Sugar, y'know? What a cool other mother🧡

    SDJ Cheirosa 62? It's much softer than 71 and age appropriate. Caramel plus vanilla.

    Bonbon by Viktor and Rolf has a very sweet strong caramel note. Maison Asrar's Veyra is my signature scent and it is very caramel forward (with fruits!)

    What about Phlur’s Caramel Skin Body Mist .. I’m not a caramel person, but I think this one is meant to slimilar to the Sabrina Carpenter one and something a 14yo would like? But I think it might be sweeter and stronger than the Cheirosa’s. Prada Candy might be a good option for something lighter?
