Know any dark rose scents?

I usually dislike rose, especially when paired with oud. I tried Xerjoff Alexandria 2 and Nishane Nefs for example and I hated them. I did, however, love Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle. Makes sense since I am a patchouli and incense enjoyer. Now I'm looking for similar dark rose scents. I would love to hear any suggestions. Thank you in advance. I'm considering matiere premiere "Radical rose" and Tom Ford "Noir de noir".

    It’s not dark but you should try MFK L’homme à la rose. Has jumped to the top of my next purchase list. It’s a very green rose profile, sitting perfectly just on the masculine side of the rose spectrum

      Worth a shot, get it on skin and see how you get on! Fresh, green, light rose is how I’d describe it. If you don’t want something too heavy this would be ideal

    You might enjoy Oud Satin Mood Extrait, though there's more going on apart from the rose. I find it deep and dark, with a bit of violet. Fille de Berlin from Serge Lutens is another rose I enjoy. It's fresher, but still spicy.

      Fille de Berlin looks promising. I'm kinda weary of the oud satin mood line cause of the sweetness, but still definitely eager to sample it. Much appreciated!

      Coming in to say that I don’t find Oud Satin Mood sweet enough. Its beautiful, but for me it’s unisex leaning masculine. I’m not really a layering person, but this one I usually add a rose forward to sweeten it up a bit for me, so I defo think you should try it. It also makes me think that my suggestions might be too sweet for you; Patchouli Ardent, Cavort Extrait de Parfum & Rose Dunes. Do you like Halfeti or Noir Extreme ?
