Can’t wait for fall

Born in spring but I’m fall through and through. Give me cool, crisp almost drinkable air. Open the windows and let it rush in even it it means I have to wear a sweater indoors. Heck, that’s glorious! Bring on the scented candles (yes, even the pumpkin ones!) Bust out the cute teacups and drown in tea concoctions all day long. Is it raining? Even better. Hear the rustling of leaves as they tap from green to gold to orange to red to brown…then fall crunchily away. Zen! Nothing better than that dry sandpapery swoosh of leaves. Somehow manage all the above in one magnificent day? (Ringer turned off. Be back later).
And making fall even better for me are all the beautiful cool-weather perfumes I start pining for in June (summer could skip me…I’d be just fine).
Guerlain Tonka Imperiale and Sarrapia. Other tonkas like Feve Delicieuse or Feve Tonka. Benzoins like Diptyque Benjoin Boheme and Affinessence Vanille Benjoin. Spicy vanillas like Babycat or Vanagloria or Eau de Audacity. Resins~Lune Feline or Ani, Rock the Myrrh, Slow Dance. Heavier woods like Tam Dao or even Gris Charnel. Patchoulis ~Coromandel. Spicy teas~ Levitating.
Ahhh! Bring on fall!
