I still enjoy them! They have their place among my expensive niche; I think they've really made an effort in recent years to compete with perfume brands. Coastal Dreaming is very similar to Sel-Vanille. Despite the name, Love Unleashed is a really lovely neroli & marshmallow. Rain and Milk are also very good. Milk is as good as any trendy creamy gourmand. Rain perfectly captures the smell of fresh rain.

I love this assessment! I think B&BW is really holding its own as the perfect place to get started because they have so many hits, but then those starts become sooo easy to get attached to when you get used to them. I loved into the night & endless weekends. I wish they’d do a couple more out there releases like a one more fragrance, but I think moving in mass market is not about appealing to a niche audience & more about what blows up online

They've always tried to produce mass appealing & slightly trendy scents. Coconut Lime Verbena had the early 2000s in a chokehold, me included. If it isn't broke.. I feel you though, finding an affordable scent I love to have it discontinued abruptly with no alternative is so frustrating.

Strawberry Lemonade, circa 2001 was my favorite. I also miss Red Currant and White Tea from the same era.

I'm really bad at explaining but to me it doesn't smell marine (salty water) as much as aquatic which smells more like this wonderful fresh green water smell as if there's either a crisp or maybe even herby quality. I use the scent alone or when I want to freshen or lighten up something really strong. If you want a brisket salty marine smell, Zara Brise Minerale smells marine to me and definitely more unisex, even a little masculine
