Does anyone use subscription services?

I'm currently running with Scentbird (which I believe is US based)

I have used a couple over the years. A UK one that went bust & a Scandinavian one that often led to my scents not turning up at all, so I canned it.

I do find it a good way to try new things, however for me personally, they still end up backing up as I just have so much other stuff to wear.

Has anyone else used any services & what has been your experience?

    I use SCENTBOX, it’s USA based too but they still ship to Ireland & UK and P&P is free. I find, if I use it wisely, it works out much cheaper for getting larger decants of premium price perfumes. I’ve never had any problems with them.

      I seem to recall looking at that 1 before & it looked like it had loads of designer bits not nothing off piste. I guess you only really see that if you subscribe?

      You can look at some of them before subscribing.. it’s just that they are sectioned off into ‘standard’, ‘premium’ and ‘platinum’, so the ‘standard’ is defo all designers.

    ScentBox here, although after 12 months I am about to stop my subscription. I own way too many perfumes 🤣 $10 postage to Australia which is just normal domestic postage (even though it comes from the US).

      I discovered Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi and Bouquet Ideale - both blind selections that went well 🙂

    I use Scentbird which are ok but there content badgering to buy more of their bottle cases or spend an extra £8 pcm and you get 2 random designer 1.5ml samples every time I open up the app does piss me off. That being said I have found a few nice fragrances that I will end up buying a bottle but not from them. I also tried out Sinph this month which I think is the Scandinavian company you have mentioned the fragrance has arrived but you can only have one sample at a time (they say an 8ml should last you a month what a load of bull!!)

      Yep Sniph was the one. I'm not hating on them, they were very helpful on comms & it was frustrating for both ends, but wasn't worth continuing for me. And I'm with you on the scentbird upselling nonsense

      Tbh Iv just stopped logging into the app so it’s less annoying lol, Iv just set my que for the next 3 months and will leave it there, Iv only had one month from Sniph so I’ll see how it goes

    I was subscribed to Scentbird, found it a little expensive. I think if I try one again it will be purple lux through fragrance net. They seem better priced and a wider selection. Not sure if they are only US based though

      Do you attach the value on a scent per ml basis only? I kinda look at it like if I hit a winner that value is better & conversely if you hit a stinker then less so

      Not necessarily price per ml, however purple lux you do get a free case every month it’s not an up charge like Scentbird. It’s $5 less per month for same size
