... That practically all major designer/luxury brands are owned by Coty, L'Oreal, LVMH,Estée Lauder, Puig or Shiseido.
I don't mean the fragrance producers like Givaudan, I man the brands.
Tom Ford is Lauder Dior is l'Oreal And so on Serge Lutens is Shiseido!

It is a bummer that so many houses and perfumers have been captured by corporate takeover and private equity. One bright light is Guerlain, who still retain most of their old charm and quality. LVMH seems to do better than most at letting creativity flow without trying to extract every penny of profit possible.
