How far away should you hold your bottle to apply fragrances with natural spray atomizers?

See title. I’m gonna make a video on this reviewing Dior atomizers (they are so wild) and want a good idea of what the average distance is for users of *_•~fine fragrance~•_*

I measure with feet so the conversion is 1 foot equals 30.5cm

Not me standing in the middle of my garden pretend spraying myself with a pretend bottle of perfume because I’ve never really thought about this and just do it automatically 😬 and the answer is.. about half a foot. Buuut! If it’s a light and fresh cologne (like Eau de Cologne Imperiale), I usually go for the ‘at arms length, misting myself’ approach, because it cools the skin as I spray and just creates a nice fresh scent bubble.

I was just thinking I spray way to close. Then I took a work break just to spray some perfume. Haha. So around the same as @curlyhen, about half a foot.

Hmm as long as the atomizer isn't flimsy and finicky about 6-8 inches. When they're not the best... about 4-5 inches...
