What do you do with your used decant bottles/travel sprays..?

Ok so I haven't finished one yet since I'm relatively new but I'm looking at the community for ideas. I bought some travel sprays from FragranceNet and decants from different sellers and they look reusable.

So my questions are: 1. Do you/can you reuse them for other scents? 2. If you do/can, how do you clear out the bottle and atomizer so you can prep it for the next scent?

I'm traveling in a few months and I don't want to carry my full bottle (and cry if it breaks or gets lost)

I've never been able to clear out the old scent no matter how much alcohol I run through it or how long I let it sit. I'd just clean it out some, and then refill it with a similar frag. Also the seals don't seem to last very long. I've had decant evaporate when left for a few months.

  I'll keep that in mind with the decants I just bought over the last few months. I wouldn't want them to go to waste. And that means I'll fill my decant close to when I travel. Thank you!

Beginner decanter here! Any decant bottle is reusable as long as you are able to open it and introduce a new scent in. I did this with two different 10 ml bottles: first I washed really really well the bottle with dish soap, I let it dry, soaked it with a mix of 1/3 water and 2/3 vinegar for 24 hrs, washed it and let it dry again and then I soaked it in isopropyl alcohol for another 24 hrs. Maybe I was an extremist jajaja but that was the only way I found to make them semi odorless again 😭

  Some of the ones don't open but there are some that do and are reusable so I'll give this method a try! Thank you!
