I tend to be the same way. I still haven't even tried Sauvage because I'm so contrarian. Imagination is priced like something I would probably pick up a clone of, but I haven't even done that either.

Omg I totally nope them aswell and I haven’t whiffed a single one. I don’t know a single person irl that wears them (maybe they are popular in USA?)… and I really hate the bottle design, it just… annoys me lol. I’m also now at the point of noping Hermès. I do think they smell lovely, but unfortunately for me, every single one I’ve sampled on my skin has caused overwhelming nausea ( the Jardin and Twilly lines).. they are getting one last chance with Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate and then I’m out. Edited to add: their ‘Homme’ ones I really like on the other half and they don’t seem to bother my brain.

I tried a *dupe* of Tribeca...it was disgusting—didn't make me sick/ give headaches, but smelled like I held my arm behind a cat's ass as it sprayed/marked its territory. Didn't just walk but RAN to return THAT one🤣

Bond No9 is pretty popular in the states. Ridiculous bottles and pricing!!! I did sample a ton. Greenwich Village is the only one that is worth anything.

It's interesting seeing their position in the industry. Gotta be a rich person lifestyle thing? They have a concession in the posh Harrods fragrance floor here in London

Yup. I'm very recent to this hobby, but for most of my life, I'm used to looking very carefully for what am I putting my money into. It's not only perfume brands I scrutinise, but perfume is one of those things you have abundant options of. I wish every market had that many choices, to be honest.

I have a clone of Spirit of Peace for Him and enjoy it, but it's not something I'd be happy with at even grey market prices for the BN9. I don't have a specific house, but the L'Homme line from Prada is just not my thing. I do quite enjoy the OG Luna Rossa from them, though.

Byredo actually makes me think of saying the phrase Boring Though, but Though is said Doe in a London accent, coz that's certainly what the brand is. Perfume for people that don't really like perfume
