Work is kicking my ass but I do get to travel…any recos for these local fragrance cultures?

Just to kick off with some humility I am extraordinarily grateful I have a job that takes me around the world. I worked very hard to get to this place but I also am getting older and god I just want to be home with my man and my dog and perfumes.

THAT BEING SAID I don’t have a choice in the matter. I just went through my travel calendar today and my oct/nov is going to be stacked with travel. With that in mind, I would appreciate any and all thoughts about local fragrance stores, brands, anything that might be helpful as I try to balance out the workload:

1. São Paulo, Brazil - I’ve spent some good time here scent hunting and hauled home some Granado, Phebo and an awesome little niche house called Bynomads. Would love any other recommendations.

2. Bangkok, Thailand - I know there’s a cool Thai fragrance world out there but I haven’t jumped into that yet. Any and all thoughts welcome!

3. Seoul, Korea - What’s the Korean fragrance world like? I’m well familiar with skincare and beauty options but haven’t done much research into any local brands.

    Thanks for sharing, sounds cool all the travelling and being able to find some local Indies to bring back from your adventures. I feel you on the travel and being away from family in my case wifey. Its cool but it also sucks very much.

      I appreciate you, and yeah, I would’ve loved this in my 20s but I’m in my 40s now and just want to chill tf out

    I love Korean fragrances. I can recommend Kira and Tamburins. I hope you find something you love every where you go. Happy travels!

      Ooops! Sorry, I meant Chwi. Kira is Vietnamese I believe. But they do have a matcha perfume that’s lovely.
