I’m sure I can’t be the only one but I’ve become almost a little obsessed with changing my scent acronym. Mine is the current fresh clean signature (how is that possible if I wear like 5-7 on rotation) and even though it literally makes no difference I sometimes find myself choosing a perfume based on if it’ll change my stats in my wear log. Anyone else doing this? 😅

I haven't chosen perfume based on my stats; but I also love gourmands and my favorite perfumes generally have gourmand aspects to them😆 I've tried enough kinds of perfumes (and still continue to!) so I know that other families aren't my favorite🤷🏾♀️—but I will say that you are def not the first person I've seen mention that their scent acronym seems off in one way or another! What a fun (even if not always accurate) app 😆

It IS fun! Absolutely. I mean to be clear all the perfumes I’ve been choosing from are ones I genuinely like…I’ve just noticed wearing certain ones change my stats haha

My acronym has changed twice as I add things so…?? It also tells me everything I look at is a good fit so I’m a bit suspicious of that. On the other hand my range is fairly wide with limited amount of things I definitely dislike.

I don't really get the idea of that and rarely look at it. I doesn't agree with my perception, with the exception of "gourmand", a concept relatively easy to get and not really heavily disputed territory. Lately I have been a night owl powder or smoke chaser or what ever. But what matters most for me is usually the sotd. So there is that...

I believe the acronym is also affected by any scent you react t. Even if you don't wear things that are sweet or oudy, if you react to them your acronym will take that into account.
