Sure the notes are the main determining factor...but how long it lasts is really important. --Going thru the top and middle fast is no fun--. You better like the base! Some that are just a blast of all- David Yurman, Aromatics Elixir are fun as what you spray is what you get. Whats your determining factor when purchasing?

Longeveity is the only aspect of performance that REALLY matters to me. Sillage is pretty important as well. Projection doesn't matter too much to me, but sometimes it's nice. Bottle design is not too important for me, as long as it's not overly tacky (I hate things like paco rabanne and JPG designs). Gender doesn't matter to me, but I guess I'm usually drawn to more "masculine" scents, so maybe it does matter on a subconscious level? Value is the least important to me. I buy what gives me a strong emotional reaction or a unique experience- sometimes that's 100ml for $100usd, and sometimes it's 50ml for $500usd 😂

I'm real curious on this one. Wether a person, a time of your life or simply curiosity, What led you to collect perfumes? O my case, my mom and grandma always had beautiful perfumes on their shelves
