Folks, help a gal out. I’m hunting for a good honeysuckle perfume for a friend — preferably not too heavy or suffocating (she’s not about that scent blanket). What are your favourites?
(She’s also a fan of orange peel, so if you have a rec on that front, I would also love to hear it. ❤️)

Isn’t it just? I can’t claim the photo as my own, alas, but the friend I’m hunting for grows honeysuckle all along her fence — absolutely heavenly! ❤️ I’ve recommended she try enfleurage for a DIY option while we’re on the hunt; it’s at least *something*, y’know?

The heavy, intoxicating sweet floral spiciness is what I love about honeysuckle. You might struggle to find a honeysuckle forward that isn’t a strong white or yellow floral profile. That being said, by your description, she might want to try Green Tea Honeysuckle, which is a much lighter, fresher and gentle take on this flower. For orange peel; something zesty - Never-ending Summer. For something gentle - Orange X Santal

Oooo, I’m gonna steal these recommendations. I love Honeysuckle by Caswell Massey but you’re right, it’s pretty white floral dominant.

So this will sound weird but Vivamor Self Made. The notes say nothing about honeysuckle but after the initial sprays when I get to the heart notes and base it reminds me of my aunt's white honeysuckle garden wall and loved smelling during the springs and summer when we lived in NJ
